CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of August 28, 2023 — Regular Meeting Page 17 of 18 16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT City Clerk Donna Gardner shared the following information: • A Charter Review Advisory Committee meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, August 29"', at 6:30 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers and is still on at this time; however, staff will continue monitoring the weather, and the meeting will be contingent on what path the storm takes according to the morning weather reports. • City Hall and all City facilities will be closed Monday, September 4"' in observance of the Labor Day holiday. • The first event for September will be the Friday Food Trucks event on Friday, September 8"' in Lake Concord Park, which will also coincide with an opening reception for the Celebramos Juntos (We Celebrate Together) art exhibition at the Art House which will also take place from 6-9 p.m. • The Track Shack Battle of the Bands 5K run will kick off at City Hall at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2023 and will include some associated road closures which have been announced and should end with the last walkers arriving approximately 10:30 a.m. • The next regular City Commission meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 11"' at 5:30 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall. 17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS Commissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: • Attended the Florida League of Cities Conference August 10-12 and shared information from some of the sessions he had attended, including one on the new Form 6, and one on the Live Local Act related to affordable housing. Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2: No report. Commissioner Chad Albritton — Seat No. 4: No report. Vice Mayor/Commissioner Mark Busch - Seat No. 3: No report.
