Procurement Information Report for the Period April I 2023 through April 30 <br />2023 <br />Mr. Newlon advised that the Procurement Information Report for the month of April 2023 was contained <br />in the Commissioners' agenda packets for review. He noted that the report contained information about <br />minor contracts that were issued under delegated authority of staff during this period. <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />Ms. Reischmann gave a brief update on recent legislation signed into law by the Governor, including the <br />Live Local Act related to affordable housing; tort reform; the Ethics Bill requiring all elected officials, <br />including municipal, to file a Form 6, full financial disclosure, which goes into effect January 1, 2024; and <br />a Bill affecting land development regulations. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />City Clerk Donna Gardner shared the following information: <br />Tonight's meeting is the only City Commission meeting for the month of May. The next <br />regular City Commission meeting will be held Monday, June 12`h at 5:30 p.m. in the City <br />Commission Chambers. <br />The Rock N' Blues Concert & Car Show will be held in Lake Concord Park on Saturday, May <br />27"' from 4-9 p.m. It will feature the Georgia Thunderbolts as the headliner, with opening acts <br />Steeln' Peaches, an Allman Brothers Tribute Band, and Debbie D and Vintage Now, sponsored <br />by the Orange Blossom Blues Society. The car show will feature classic cars from pre -1984. <br />City Hall and all City facilities will be closed Monday, May 29" in observance of Memorial <br />Day. <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: <br />Reported that Earth Fest was held Saturday, April 29"' in Lake Concord Park, hosted by the <br />City of Casselberry and Friends of the Park and was once again a very successful event. <br />Approximately 2000 people attended, and there was a major focus on Monarch butterflies, as <br />the City will be registering for and become designated as a Monarch City through the Monarch <br />City USA Program in the near future. <br />Recently attended the following events and meetings: Casselberry Food Trucks event on <br />Friday, May 12"' in Lake Concord Park which he noted was well attended, and the music was <br />great; and the Employee Appreciation Picnic on Thursday, May 4"h in Lake Concord Park. <br />
