CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of May 15, 2023 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 14 of 16 <br />people would not be crossing the double drive-through, since it was a drive-through business and not <br />intended to be a walk-up or dine -in business. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval <br />of Ordinance 23-1582 (ZB 22-09) on first reading. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Ordinance 23-1582. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve Ordinance 23-1582 on first <br />reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Busch. Motion <br />carried unanimously by voice vote 4-0. <br />11. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />12. OTHER ITEMS <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Henson announced that persons wishing to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on <br />the agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Henson announced the rules <br />of decorum. The following individual came forward: <br />Matthew Lenavitt stated he was here with his best friend and business partner Taylor Elenberg <br />and they were the owners of 582 Queens Mirror Circle, a short-term rental home. He shared <br />the steps he and his partner had taken to address concerns that had been brought to their <br />attention regarding tenants' activities at the home. He advised that he was reaching out to the <br />City Commission to advise of the things he was implementing which included adjustments to <br />lighting, signage regarding parking, adjustments to the trash pick-up process, installation of <br />noise monitoring devices, implementation of strict house rules and guidelines, real-time <br />monitoring devices around the property to help ensure the rules are being followed, and a <br />notification system for neighbors to contact them with any concerns. He added that he had <br />taken these steps when he learned of all the concerns, as it was his desire for the neighbors to <br />feel comfortable and he wanted to be a good neighbor to the residents in the surrounding <br />community. <br />No one else came forward. <br />
