Code Enforcement Hearing <br />Minutes, July 20, 2023 <br />Page 3 <br />Special Magistrate Ruling: The Special Magistrate found that CE -23-000285, located at <br />Sunshadow Drive was in violation of the City Code Sections as listed on the notice of code <br />violation, based on testimony and evidence provided by the Code Enforcement Officer. It was <br />ordered that the respondent shall cure the violations by 1:00 P.M. August 17, 2023. If there is no <br />compliance by August 17, 2023, then a fine of $150.00 per day will be imposed for each day the <br />property remains in non-compliance. A subsequent hearing will be held on August 17, 2023, to <br />determine if compliance has been achieved. <br />10. CE -23-000303: New Case at 1541 Oak Lane Violation - City Code 2-7.10.a Fence <br />permit required. <br />Staff Presentation: Officer Hall gave testimony that the property was reinspected and found to <br />remain in violation on July 17, 2023. The City requested a correction date of August 17, 2023. If <br />no compliance by August 17, 2023, then a fine of $75.00 per day should then be imposed for <br />each day of non-compliance thereafter. The City requests a subsequent hearing date of August <br />17, 2023, to determine compliance. The Special Magistrate asked if there was anyone present to <br />speak for this case, a representative was present. <br />Discussion: J.P.
