Investment Report from TRUSCO Capital Management <br />Mr. Lance Powers, TRUSCO Capital Management, presented the investment report, dated June <br />4, 2001 for the City's Pension Plan. The Report was accepted by the Board and is available for <br />inspection with the City Clerk of the City of Casselberry.. <br />IV. Presentation by Bill Stark - Bogdahn Consulting <br />Mr. Bill Stark, Bogdahan Consulting, presented the performance evaluation report of the investment <br />manager, TRUSCO Capital Management. The report was accepted by the board and is available for <br />inspection with the City Clerk of the City of Casselberry. <br />V. Approval of Expenditure Report <br />MOTION: Moved by Officer Jason McMullen to approve the Expenditure <br />Report dated May 18, 2001 as submitted. Seconded by Mr. Dale <br />Christensen. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />VI. Approval of Reimbursement of i o Contribution - Firefighters <br />MOTION: Moved by Officer Jason McMullen to approve the Reimbursement <br />of 1% contribution by the part time firefighters as submitted in letter <br />dated May 18, 2001 by the Finance Director. Seconded by <br />Mr. Dale Christensen. Motion carried unanimously by voice <br />vote. <br />VII. Proposed Ordinance Amending the City's Pension Plan - Scott Christiansen <br />Mr. Scott Christiansen said the City's position has always been to maintain parity between the <br />City's plan and the Florida Retirement System. In keeping with this position and changes made <br />to the Florida Retirement System, the following changes are proposed: <br />• Reduce the vesting retirement period from ten (10) years to six (6) years of <br />Credited Service <br />• Increase the minimum in -line -of -duty disability benefit from forty-two (42) <br />percent to sixty-five (65) percent. <br />• Providing a minimum in -line -of duty death benefit of fifty (50) percent of salary <br />• Providing a monthly supplemental benefit for health insurance subsidy equal to <br />the years of credited service tunes $5.00 up to maximum of $150.00 <br />• Family medical leave or any authorized leave of absence shall be added to years <br />
