Each of said systems as so defined includes such system <br />as it now exists and as it may be improved and extended, com- <br />prising all treatment, transmission, distribution, collection and <br />disposal facilities and all real and personal property of every <br />nature owned or operated by the city and used or useful in the <br />operation thereof whether within or without the boundaries of <br />the city, (except Excluded Facilities), and including all licenses, <br />franchises, easements, leases, rights of way, choses in action and <br />other tangible and intangible property and rights therein. <br />1.19. "Utilities tax" means the tax imposed by the city <br />upon every purchase of electricity, gas (natural, liquefied petro- <br />leum gas or manufactured), water service and local telegraph and <br />telephone service within the corporate limits of said.city pursuant <br />to the Utilities Tax Ordinance. <br />1.20. "Utilities Tax Ordinance" means Ordinance No. 177 <br />enacted on January 20, 1969 imposing the Utilities Tax as said <br />ordinance may have heretofore been or may hereafter be amended and <br />supplemented, including each and every ordinance which may hereafter <br />be adopted imposing a tax upon any or all of the same utility ser- <br />vices, whether or not in substitution for said Ordinance No. 177, <br />the city hereby agreeing to adopt any such ordinance as may here- <br />after become necessary or advisable to assure the continued collec- <br />tion and application of utilities tax as hereinafter provided. <br />
