RESOLUTION 17-2945 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A <br />PISTOL RANGE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF NEW <br />SMYRNA BEACH; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry wishes to enter into an agreement with the City of <br />New Smyrna Beach for use of their Police Department's pistol range to enhance the training of <br />the sworn members of the Casselberry Police Department, so as to protect the public peace and <br />safety, and preserve the lives and property of the people. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the New <br />Smyrna Beach Pistol Range Agreement (attached as Exhibit A) and authorizes the Mayor to <br />execute said document on behalf of the City. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any <br />of the provisions ofthis Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effects of any other Section or part ofthis Resolution. <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1344' day of ¢[7(?- -br , 2017. <br />ATTEST: <br />Donna G.
