3. Coo )eration <br />It is agreed that both parties shall provide all reasonable and necessary cooperation and <br />assistance so as to facilitate the terms of this .Agreement. <br />4. Basic Seri ices <br />1. The SHERIFF agrees to_ <br />A. Provide ECIC Information Systems, CAFEWEB, MICAD and other applicable criminal <br />justice software available on the SHERI.FE'S network to the PD. <br />B. Provide database security and backup services for PD data residing on Sheriff's Office <br />systems. <br />C. Provide necessary instruction and training to PD personnel on CAFEWEB, MICAD and <br />other applicable software to support the transition to SCSO systems. After initial system. <br />setup, SHERIFF may, at its sole discretion, offer additional training to PD. <br />D. Provide, maintain and pay for such data transfer circuit(s) required to support connection <br />and interface with CAFEWEB, MICAD and other applicable criminal justice software on <br />the SIHERIFF'S network. <br />E. Provide highest level (Tier 3) expert support to the PD for CAFEWEB, MICAD and other <br />applicable software. <br />F. Share PD CAFEWEB data with the Law Enforcement Technology, Training and <br />Research center to facilitate law enforcement data sharing on a regional, state and <br />nationwide basis. <br />G. Provide for a sufficient number of appropriately qualified personnel to perform those <br />services set forth within this Agreement. <br />1-1 - Make reasonable efforts to ensure delivery of the provision of services set forth herein. <br />SHERIFF makes no warranties, representations, or guarantees with .regards to specific <br />performance levels, data accuracy, data completeness, system uptime, security, or system <br />integration and SHERIFF will not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages incurred <br />by PD's use of the software/system(s), including but not limited to loss of data or loss of <br />system. use. <br />2. PD agrees to: <br />A. Abide by all applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules and regulations, as well as the <br />IBI CJIS Security Policy and rules and regulations of ECIC with regards to the use of said <br />criminal justice computer systems, and ensure compliance with Florida Public Records <br />latus in regards to exempt and confidential data contained within criminal justice software <br />systerns provided by the. SHERIFF. <br />
