Resolution 23-3557 — Locally Funded Agreement with Florida Department of <br />Transportation to Provide Shortfall Funding for Construction Engineering and <br />Inspection Services for the Southcot Drive Bicycle/Pedestrian Improvements <br />Project <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY FLORIDA, <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A LOCALLY FUNDED <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION IN <br />ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR SHORTFALL FUNDING FOR CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING <br />AND INSPECTION SERVICES FOR THE SOUTHCOT DRIVE BICYCLE/PEDESTRIAN <br />IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 23-3557 provides for approval of a Locally Funded Agreement with the Florida <br />Department of Transportation to provide for shortfall funding in the estimated amount of $61,688 for <br />construction engineering and inspection (CEI) services for the Southcot Drive Bicycle/Pedestrian <br />Improvements Project (City project number PW 1702). (Ref. ITB -2022-0954) <br />Budget Impact: Sufficient funding has been budgeted in the Fiscal Year 2023 Infrastructure Surtax (Sales <br />Tax) Fund Infrastructure account #114-0710-541.63-40 to cover the estimated cost of $61,688 associated <br />with this item. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works & Utilities Director recommended approval <br />of Resolution 23-3557 to provide for shortfall funding in the estimated amount of $61,688 for CEI services <br />for the Southcot Drive Bicycle/Pedestrian Improvements project. <br />G.
