CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of March 27, 2023 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 15 of 16 <br />No one else came forward. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />A. Procurement Information Report for the Period February 1 2023 through February <br />28, 2023 <br />Mr. Newlon advised that the Procurement Information Report for the month of February 2023 was <br />contained in the Commissioners' agenda packets for review. He noted that the report contained information <br />about minor contracts that were issued under delegated authority of staff during this period. <br />Praised all staff and volunteers who had worked to make the Spring Art & Jazz Festival on <br />Saturday, March 25`'" such a successful event. <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />Stated she would bring an update to the City Commission after the conclusion of the current legislative <br />session. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />No report. <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: <br />• Stated the Spring Art & Jazz Festival was very successful and well attended, even though a <br />sister city also had a major event the same day. <br />• Attended the Tri -County League of Cities meeting with Mayor Henson and others and <br />commended the Mayor for keeping abreast of legislative changes. <br />• Stated Earth Fest will be held Saturday, April 29t" and the City is still looking for sponsors and <br />vendors for the 15t" year of the event. <br />• Noted the historical marker dedication for the Brightwater Estate will be held April Is' at 3:00 <br />p.m. at 700 South Lost Lake Lane. <br />Commissioner Chad Albritton — Seat No. 4: <br />• Expressed concerns regarding some of the legislation that is being considered and passed that <br />
