Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Consent Agenda. Commissioner Meadows requested that Item D, Resolution 16-2906 — Cooperative Agreement with Varsity Courts for Reconstruction of Tennis Courts at Secret Lake Park and Related Budget Amendment #16-062 be removed from the Consent Agenda for separate discussion and consideration. MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to approve the Consent Agenda as amended by removing Item D, Resolution 16-2906 — Cooperative Agreement with Varsity Courts for Reconstruction of Tennis Courts at Secret Lake Park and Related Budget Amendment #16-02 for separate discussion and consideration. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. D. Resolution 16-2906 — Cooperative Agreement with Varsity Courts for Reconstruction of Tennis Courts at Secret Lake Park and Related Budvet Amendment #16-062 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH VARSITY COURTS, INC. FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF THE TENNIS COURTS AT SECRET LAKE PARK; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 16-2906 approves the Cooperative Agreement with Varsity Courts, Inc. to reconstruct the tennis courts at Secret Lake Park for an amount not to exceed $110,369.50 by "piggybacking" the Orange County Public Schools' Contract number ITB 1307164, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. Consideration of related Budget Amendment #16-062 is also requested. Budget Impact: Approval of Budget Amendment #16-062 will increase the General Fund Parks/Improvements Other Than Building account #001-0410-572.63-24 in the amount of $70,370 and decrease the Facilities Repairs and Maintenance account #001-0722-519.46-00 in the amount of $50,000, the Parks Building Improvements account #001-0410-572.62-25 in the amount of $6,370, and the Recreation Printing and Binding account #001-0411-572.47-06 in the amount of $14,000. BA #16-062 Explanation of Request: This Budget Amendment is necessary to re -appropriate funding to cover costs associated with an agreement with Varsity Courts, Inc. for the reconstruction ofthe tennis courts at Secret Lake Park, in the amount of $110,369.50.
