The CONSULTANT'S out-of-pocket expenses including long <br />distance, telephone and postage charges will be charged at <br />the actual cost plus 1.10 administrative/accounting costs. <br />b. Direct Proiect Expenses <br />Charges including printing, reproductions and the use of the <br />CONSULTANT'S and employee's automobiles for distances <br />beyond a 50 -mile radius of CONSULTANT's place of <br />business will be charged in accordance with the <br />CONSULTANT'S actual cost plus 1.10 administrative/ <br />accounting costs. <br />The CONSULTANT agrees that the rates stipulated in Exhibit A (attached <br />hereto) shall remain in effect for 12 months from the execution of this agreement. <br />The CONSULTANT shall have the right to ask for changes in rates within 60 <br />calendar days of the anniversary date of this agreement. Failure to request any <br />rate increase as stated above will result in the CONSULTANT honoring his rates <br />as stipulated in Exhibit A for another 12 months. If mutual agreement on <br />increased rates cannot be reached, either party shall have the right to terminate <br />this agreement as set forth herein. <br />1=raela29AI19:[Q:1rte_%9'[07 <br />Each project shall be authorized by execution of a Work Authorization by the <br />CITY and the CONSULTANT. The CONSULTANT shall submit a draft Work <br />Authorization for each project to the CITY, which describes the project and <br />establishes the time of performance and the method of compensation. For <br />projects using the Lump Sum method, the amount of the lump sum shall be set <br />forth in the Work Authorization. For projects using the Standard Hourly Rate <br />Method, the Work Authorization shall set forth an amount, which shall not be <br />exceeded without prior authorization. <br />F. SUBCONSULTANTS <br />The services of sub -consultants, whose expertise is required within the scope of <br />the CONSULTANT'S work and/or who are retained by the CONSULTANT as a <br />convenience to the CITY, will be allowed.
