OTHER ITEMS <br />A. Dew Drop Park Improvements 60% Design Plans Discussion <br />Staff Presentation: Public Works & Utilities Director Kelly Brock provided an update regarding the 60% <br />design plans for the Dew Drop Park Improvements project (PW 2110) and requested discussion, <br />recommendations, and guidance fi•om the City Commission. <br />Discussion: A brief discussion ensued which included the timeline for the potential Land and Water <br />Conservation Fund grant award; where Dew Drop Park falls on the parks referendum priority list; overall <br />parks projects and cost overruns; possible bid alternates; proposed park elements and changes being <br />proposed as cost savings measures; and concerns about the need for curbing in the parking lot near the <br />retention area. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget at this time. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works & Utilities Director requested direction from <br />the City Commission regarding the 60% design plans to help develop future iterations of the plans. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address this item. <br />CONSENSUS: The City Commission agreed by consensus to direct staff to move <br />forward with development of plans for the Dew Drop Park <br />Improvements Project, as presented. <br />B. Sunnytown Park Improvements Discussion <br />Staff Presentation: Public Works & Utilities Director Kelly Brock presented information regarding the <br />status of the Sunnytown Park Improvements Project and solicited guidance fi-orn the City Commission on <br />
