CITY MANAGER'S REPORT Advised lie was aware of the incident which occurred New Year's Eve mentioned by Ms. Hufford, and staff was working with the City Attorney to find a possible solution for similar occurrences in the future. He noted that residents can and should call the Police Department with a noise complaint even if they cannot identify where the noise is actually occurring. Commended staff on the award of contract for the Sunset Drive Livable Street Improvements Project and funding for the project. Again thanked staff for all they had done to make the holidays special in the City, including all of the events and decorations. 15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT No report. 16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT City Clerk Donna Gardner shared the following information: The next Casselberry Food Trucks event will be Friday, January 13th from 6-9 p.m. in Lake Concord Park, and attendees can also enjoy the opening reception for the Florida Painters Reunite Exhibition at the Art House fi-oni 6-9 p.m. the same day. Tile Exhibition will be available for viewing at the Art House through January 30ti'. City Hall and all City facilities will be closed Monday, January 16"' in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The next regular City Commission meeting will be held Monday, January 23`d at 5:30 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall. 17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS Commissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: No report. Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2: • Commented on Ms. Hufford's concerns noting that the State preempts the City in regulation of rental homes but suggesting the City could possibly look into adding "no parking during off hours" signage to address the golf course gathering issue. • Congratulated Public Works & Utilities Director Dr. Kelly Brock on being recognized by Smart Growth America as one of its 2023 Complete Streets Changemakers.
