CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of January 9, 2023 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 6 of 9 <br />The City Cleric read Resolution 23-3347 by title, as follows: <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENTAL <br />AGREEMENT NO. l TO THE LOCAL AGENCY PROGRAM AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE <br />OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE <br />SUNSET DRIVE LIVABLE STREETS (FROM OXFORD ROAD TO BUTTON ROAD) <br />PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: Resolution 23-3347 approves Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to the Local Agency <br />Program (LAP) Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation to find construction of the <br />Sunset Drive Livable Streets project. Public Works Divisions Director Leonard Barden presented a brief <br />overview of the item to the City Commission. The estimated cost of the project is approximately $4 million; <br />however, there is currently $2,258,304 available in federal funding and an additional $914,000 set aside by <br />MetroPlan Orlando for this project, so the City's funding match will only be approximately $500,000. <br />Budget Impact: A budget amendment is necessary to recognize the federal funding and additional local <br />funding associated with this supplemental agreement. This is addressed by a separate item on this same <br />agenda. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Resolution 23-3347. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Busch moved to approve Resolution 23-3347, as presented. Motion <br />was seconded by Commissioner Albritton. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote 5-0. <br />10. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES <br />No items were presented on this agenda. <br />11.
