CASSGLBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of September 26, 2022 — Regular Meeting Page 12 of 13 decorum. The following individual came forward: I. Bill Hufford, 527 Queens Mirror Circle, expressed appreciation to the City Commission and staff for the Latin Jazz and Art Festival held in Lake Concord Park on Saturday, September 24t1i which he felt had been a great event and very well attended. He commended the City for continuing to embrace the artist community and to include diverse cultures in its art exhibits and events. No one else came forward. 14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT A. Procurement Information Report for the Period August 1 2022 through August 31, 2022 Mr. Newlon advised that the Procurement Information Report for the month of August 2022 was contained in the Commissioners' agenda packets for review. He noted that the report contained information about minor contracts that were issued under delegated authority of staff during this period. • Recognized the Finance Department staff for all their hard work on preparation of the budget. • Thanked Mr. Hufford for his positive comments about the Latin Jazz and Art Festival and also expressed appreciation to staff for hard work on preparations for the event including the art exhibits at the Art and Sculpture Houses and City Hall. 15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT No report. 16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT City Clerk Donna Gardner shared the following information: • Basic information regarding Hurricane Ian is on the City's website and social media sites currently. These sites will be updated with new information as it is received. 17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS Commissioner Chad Albritton - Seat No. 4: • Commended staff for working to make the Latin Jazz and Art Festival such a great event this past weekend. • Thanked staff for their storm preparations for Hurricane Ian.
