a. Parking shall be located to the rear of the building, where possible, and screened so that <br />it does not dominate the streetscape. Buildings, hedgesiand landscaping shall be used <br />to screen parking areas. <br />b. Every ten (10) parking stalls must be separated by a parallel landscaped area_... <br />inininium width of nine (9) feet. <br />c. Designated Parking Spaces. If parking spaces are designated for a particular building <br />or use, those spaces shall be identified either using the wheel stop or a form of paved <br />numbering/lettering. The City will consider alternative methods of designations if <br />compatible with the area. Spray painted numbers and individual signs shall not be <br />allowed. Required accessible parking is an exception to this requirement. <br />d. Structured Parking. Structured parking is encouraged to maximize the use of space <br />available. <br />Structured parking facilities may front a public right-of-way so long as the <br />architecture of the garage matches that of the surrounding buildings and blends in <br />aesthetically to the surrounding area.
