Task Authorization No. 9 with CPH LLC for Additional Post -Design Services for <br />PW 2113 Municipal Way Parking Lot Expansion and Related Budget Amendment <br />#0'i-01 0 <br />Introduction: Approval of Task Authorization No. 9 with CPH, LLC to provide additional post -design <br />services for the Municipal Way Parking Lot Expansion project in the amount not to exceed $9,077.60 and <br />related Budget Amendment #23-010 is requested. (Ref. PW 2113 and SOQ-2020-0585) <br />Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #23-010 will provide sufficient finding for this item by rolling over <br />the budget for project PW 2113 into Fiscal year 2023, increasing General Fund Other Non-operating <br />Sources account #001-0000-389.90-00 and General Fund Parks Improvements Other account #001-0410- <br />572.63-24 each by $76,020. <br />BA #23-010 <br />Explanation of Request: This budget amendment seeks City Commission approval to rollover FY 2022 <br />budgeted funds that will instead be expended in FY 2023 for the Municipal Way Parking Lot Expansion <br />project (to include PO# 80445 with W.T. Comp). <br />Increase: <br />001-0000-389.90-00 Other Non-operating Sources $76,020 <br />001-0410-572.63-24 Improvements Other $76,020 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works & Utilities Director recommended approval <br />of Task Authorization No. 9 with CPN, LLC in the amount not to exceed $9,077.60 and related Budget <br />Amendment #23-010 for project PW 2113 Municipal Way Parking Lot Expansion. <br />Ratification of Appointment of Community Development Director <br />Introduction: Ratification of the City Manager's appointment of Christopher Schmidt as Community <br />Development Director for the City of Casselberry, effective November 14, 2022 is requested. <br />Discussion: The former Community Development Director resigned earlier this summer. After a <br />recruitment process, Christopher Schmidt was offered the position. Upon ratification by the City <br />Commission, Mr. Schmidt will officially assume his role as Director on November 14, 2022. <br />Budget Impact: Sufficient funding exists within the FY 2023 Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager recommended ratification of the appointment of Christopher <br />Schmidt as Community Development Director for the City of Casselberry, effective November 14, 2022. <br />
