Resolution 22-3314 — School Resource Officer Agreement with the School Board <br />of Seminole County for the 2022-2023 School Year <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND THE SEMINOLE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD <br />FOR SERVICES OF A SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER FOR THE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR; <br />PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Approval of Resolution 22-3314 authorizing execution of an agreement with the School <br />Board of Seminole County to share the cost and provide $56,798.53 for a School Resource Officer (SRO) <br />at South Seminole Middle School for the 2022-2023 school year is requested. <br />Budget Impact: The revenue from Seminole County for the School Resource Officer's salary and benefits <br />in the amount of $56,798.53 will be deposited as it is received into the General Fund SRO revenue account <br />#001-0000-337.20-01. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval of Resolution 22-3314. <br />C. Resolution 22-3323 — Agreement with Florida Department of Environmental <br />Protection for a Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program Grant to <br />Develop "Wheel Park" — Phase 1 <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH <br />THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION FOR A FLORIDA <br />RECREATION DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM GRANT FOR "WHEEL PARK" — <br />PHASE 1; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Approval of Resolution 22-3323 authorizing execution of an Agreement with the Florida <br />Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) for a Florida Recreation Development Assistance <br />Program (FRDAP) Grant for the development of a new park in northern Casselberry under the working <br />name "Wheel Park" — Phase 1 in the amount of $200,000 with a required local match of $200,000 for a <br />total project cost of $400,000 is requested. <br />Budget Impact: Future Budget Amendments will be brought forward to recognize the $200,000 in grant <br />revenue for this project. A $200,000 local match is required, which is accounted for in the FY 2021-2022 <br />
