CE -21-000659 417 Rain Lily Cv. <br />• City Code 1-4.3.a: No Building Permit <br />Supervisor Acevedo advised that this is a request to reduce a fine imposed on the property located at 417 <br />Rain Lily Cv. The Special Magistrate reviewed the application for reduction of fine and asked Ms. Acevedo <br />if she agreed with the request to reduce to $400.00, Ms. Acevedo stated no but would recommend a <br />reduction to 10% of the fine. There was a representative present to speak to this case. <br />Franklin Ramseur, property owner, 111 Durham PI, longwood, FL advised that he agrees that there was a <br />violation for the ditch proper to obtaining a permit, Mr. Ramseur continued. <br />The Special Magistrate made a finding to reduce the fine in case CE -21-000659 from $23,400.00 to <br />$1,170.00, to be paid within 30 days. <br />NEW CASES <br />CE -21-001052 441 Citrus Ln. <br />• City Code 2-7.10.a Fence permit required <br />• City Code 2-7.10.c.1 Front yard fences <br />Supervisor Acevedo gave testimony that the property was reinspected and found to remain in violation on <br />April 18, 2022. The City requested a correction date of June 16, 2022. If no compliance by June 16, 2022 <br />then a fine of $75.00 per day should then be imposed for each day of non-compliance thereafter. The City <br />requests a subsequent hearing date of July 21, 2022 to determine compliance. The Special Magistrate asked <br />if there was anyone present to speak to this case, there was no one present. <br />The Special Magistrate tabled this case to a future hearing. <br />CE -22-000250 690 Vallejo Ct. <br />• City Code 3-10.9 c. La Recreational equipment <br />• City Code 3-10.9.0 Recreational equipment - Parking Requirements <br />• City Code 3-10.9.c.2 Recreational equipment overnight parking <br />• City Code 3-10.9.d.2.c Recreational vehicle storage. <br />Officer McDonald gave testimony that the property was reinspected and found to remain in violation on <br />May 16, 2022. The City requested a correction date of July 14, 2022. If no compliance by July 14, 2022 <br />then a fine of $100.00 per day should then be imposed for each day of non-compliance thereafter. The City <br />requests a subsequent hearing date of July 21, 2022 to determine compliance. The Special Magistrate asked <br />if there was anyone present to speak to this case, there was no one present. <br />The Special Magistrate made a finding that CE -22-000250, located at 690 Vallejo Ct., was in violation of <br />the City Code Sections as listed on the notice of code violation, based on testimony and evidence provided <br />by the Code Enforcement Officer. It was ordered that the respondent shall cure the violations by 1:00 P.M. <br />June 18, 2022. If there is no compliance by June 18, 2022, then a fine of $100.00 per day will be imposed <br />for each day the property remains in non-compliance.
