Officer McDonald described photos to the Special Magistrate. The Special Magistrate asked if there was <br />anyone present to speak to this case, there was a representative present. <br />Maria Angeles, property owner advised she has contacted the power company to get assistance with tree <br />removal. Supervisor Acevedo assisted the respondent by interpreting Spanish to English. <br />The Special Magistrate made a finding that CE -21-000800, located at 511 Jasmine Rd., was in violation of <br />the City Code Sections as listed on the notice of code violation, based on testimony and evidence provided <br />by the Code Enforcement Officer. It was ordered that the respondent shall cure the violations by 1:00 P.M. <br />July 18, 2022. If there is no compliance by July 18, 2022, then a fine of $100.00 per day will be imposed <br />for each day the property remains in non-compliance. The Special Magistrate asked <br />if there was anyone present to speak to this case, there was a representative present. <br />Erica Stoner, 232 Brighton Way property owner advised that in 2017 there as a small leak in the home, Ms. <br />Stoner has been in litigation with the insurance company. The insurance company wanted to give $600 for <br />roof repair but the quote was for $14,000, the insurance company settled about a month ago and agreed to <br />settle for $13,000. <br />The Special Magistrate made a finding that CE -21-001097, located at 232 Brighton Way, was in violation <br />of the City Code Sections as listed on the notice of code violation, based on testimony and evidence <br />provided by the Code Enforcement Officer. It was ordered that the respondent shall cure the violations by <br />1:00 P.M. August 17, 2022. If there is no compliance by August 17, 2022, then a fine of $50.00 per day <br />will be imposed for each day the property remains in non-compliance.
