CITY OF CASSELBERRY CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING MARCH 17, 2022 The City held its regular Code Enforcement hearing Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 6:30 p.m., in the City of Casselberry Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. Ms. Kara Consalo, Esq. Special Magistrate, called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. SPECIAL MAGISTRATE Kara Z. Consalo, Esq. CITY STAFF PRESENT Micelania Acevedo, Senior Code Compliance Officer Matthew McDonald, Code Compliance Officer William Andreone, Code Compliance Officer Brenda Cutlip, Recording Secretary Jen Nix, Assistant City Attorney PLEDGE OF ALLIGIANCE The Special Magistrate led the Pledge of Allegiance. FORMAT FOR PROCEEDINGS The Special Magistrate read the format for proceedings. SWEARING IN OF THOSE IN ATTENDANCE The Special Magistrate swore in those who would testify. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The Special Magistrate asked if anyone in the audience had any additions or corrections to the Minutes from the February 17, 2022 hearing; there were none. The Special Magistrate approved the Minutes from the February 17, 2022 hearing. STATEMENT OF EVIDENCE Officer Acevedo advised that all events occurred within the corporate limits of the City. The Officer's notes, case narratives, testimony, photographs, supporting documents and PowerPoint presentation were all entered as part of the official record. NEW CASES CE -21-000431 236 Wilshire Dr. • City Code 3-10.3.a.4 Roofs, gutters, down spouts — maintenance Supervisor Acevedo gave testimony that the property was reinspected and found to remain in violation on March 15, 2022. The City requested a correction date of June 15, 2022. If no compliance by June 15, 2022 then a fine of $75.00 per day should then be imposed for each day of non-compliance thereafter. The City requests a subsequent hearing date of June 16, 2022 to determine compliance. The Special Magistrate asked if there was anyone present to speak to this case. There was a representative present.
