BACKGROUND AND INTRODUCTION <br />Brown & Caldwell (CONSULTANT) entered into an AGREEMENT with the City of Casselberry (CITY) to <br />provide Continuing Professional Water and Sewer Utility Engineering Services on June 28, 2010. The <br />CITY has requested CONSULTANT to provide specific wastewater collection system services as defined <br />herein. These services will be provided as a SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT. <br />The services to be provided generally consist of evaluating the existing collection system and developing <br />a master plan for upgrading and improving the collection system for incorporation into the CITY's Capital <br />Improvements Program (CIP) based on available information collected by CITY Staff. Three areas will be <br />addressed including Aging Infrastructure, Serving Additional Sanitary Sewer Customers, and the Impact <br />of Rezoning on the Sanitary Sewer Collection System. The scope of work is defined in more detail as <br />follows. <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />SUBTASK 001 - Data Collection <br />Objective: The objective of this subtask is to collect available data on the collection system from CITY <br />staff and organize it for analysis purposes. <br />Activities <br />1.1 Data Collection/Kickoff Meeting - CONSULTANT will conduct a Kickoff Meeting with CITY staff to <br />formally initiate the project. As part of this meeting the data collection effort will also be initiated <br />to include the following documents: <br />1.1.1 1999 Master Plan <br />1.1.2 Collection system maps in GIS format <br />1.1.3 List of pump stations by number, name, age and design capacity. Records of pump sta- <br />tion operating flows and pressures where measured. <br />1.1.4 Pump station "linkage" diagram indicating flow pattern of pump stations serving Cassel- <br />berry. <br />1.1.5 Basic system demographics including miles of gravity and force main pipe, number of <br />sewer connections and number of manholes. Any system age and material type availa- <br />ble will also be very helpful. <br />1.1.6 Sanitary sewer overflow, maintenance and repair records. Include any available graphical <br />or photographic documentation. <br />1.1.7 CCTV data including DVDs and defect/rehabilitation documentation <br />1.1.8 Manhole inspection and rehabilitation/replacement data, including any available photo- <br />graphs of manhole conditions <br />1.1.9 Existing plans and/or cost estimates for renewal and replacement projects for gravity or <br />force mains and pump stations <br />1.1.10 Historical budgets of collection system improvement expenditures (past 5 years) <br />1.1.11 Five-year budget for expected expenditures on collection system improvements <br />1.1.12 Records of pump station flows, pressures and/or run-times prior to, during, and after <br />2008 Tropical Storm Fay. <br />Brown AND Caldwell <br />
