Exhibit'A" SCOPE OF SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY UTILITIES IMPROVEMENTS SEPTEMBER 2010 I. Background On May 10, 2010 Camp Dresser & McKee Inc. (CONSULTANT) was retained by the City of Casselberry (CITY) to provide consulting services for Continuing Professional Utilities Improvements Engineering Services. The CITY has requested the CONSULTANT provide services to generate construction ready documents to upgrade the following three projects; Upgrade Clarifiers No.1 and No. 2 at the Water Reclamation Facility (WRF), replace the City's Golf Course Pump Station electrical panels, and convert the existing Winterwoods Pump Station to a submersible station. II. Scope of Services The CONSULTANT shall meet with the CITY at the 60%, 90% and 100% design milestones for review and comment of the design documents. The CITY shall provide comments to the CONSULTANT within two weeks of receiving comments. Comments mutually agreed upon shall be incorporated into the documents. The CONSULTANT will provide an Engineer's Opinion of the Probable Construction Cost of construction for the project at the 60% completion milestones and prepare a final opinion of the probable construction cost estimate at the 100% milestone. The CONSULTANT assumes all three projects will be produced as one bid package. Bid ready design documents shall be supplied to the CITY in PDF format. Additionally, drawings shall be supplied in AutoCAD, and specifications shall be supplied in Word format. The CITY will prepare and distribute bid packages, tabulate bids, contact the apparent low bidder, and prepare documents necessary for commission approval. The CONSULTANT shall attend the pre bid meeting. During the bidding process the CONSULTANT will assist the CITY in responding to issues requiring clarification of the design. Additional bidding services are not included in this scope. During construction the CONSULTANT will assist the CITY in responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and complete record drawings. The CONSULTANT shall submit record drawings within two weeks or completion of the project. The CONSULTANT shall attend monthly construction meetings. The CITY shall review and respond to pay applications and potential change orders. The CONSULTANT assumes one set of signed and sealed drawings will be provided to the City of Altamonte Springs Building Department for review.
