Exhibit'A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />FOR THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />UTILITIES IMPROVEMENTS <br />SEPTEMBER 2010 <br />I. Background <br />On May 10, 2010 Camp Dresser & McKee Inc. (CONSULTANT) was retained by the <br />City of Casselberry (CITY) to provide consulting services for Continuing Professional <br />Utilities Improvements Engineering Services. The CITY has requested the <br />CONSULTANT provide services to generate construction ready documents to <br />upgrade the following three projects; Upgrade Clarifiers No.1 and No. 2 at the Water <br />Reclamation Facility (WRF), replace the City's Golf Course Pump Station electrical <br />panels, and convert the existing Winterwoods Pump Station to a submersible station. <br />II. Scope of Services <br />The CONSULTANT shall meet with the CITY at the 60%, 90% and 100% design <br />milestones for review and comment of the design documents. The CITY shall provide <br />comments to the CONSULTANT within two weeks of receiving comments. <br />Comments mutually agreed upon shall be incorporated into the documents. <br />The CONSULTANT will provide an Engineer's Opinion of the Probable Construction <br />Cost of construction for the project at the 60% completion milestones and prepare a <br />final opinion of the probable construction cost estimate at the 100% milestone. <br />The CONSULTANT assumes all three projects will be produced as one bid package. <br />Bid ready design documents shall be supplied to the CITY in PDF format. <br />Additionally, drawings shall be supplied in AutoCAD, and specifications shall be <br />supplied in Word format. The CITY will prepare and distribute bid packages, tabulate <br />bids, contact the apparent low bidder, and prepare documents necessary for <br />commission approval. The CONSULTANT shall attend the pre bid meeting. During <br />the bidding process the CONSULTANT will assist the CITY in responding to issues <br />requiring clarification of the design. Additional bidding services are not included in <br />this scope. <br />During construction the CONSULTANT will assist the CITY in responding to RFIs, <br />reviewing shop drawings, and complete record drawings. The CONSULTANT shall <br />submit record drawings within two weeks or completion of the project. The <br />CONSULTANT shall attend monthly construction meetings. The CITY shall review <br />and respond to pay applications and potential change orders. <br />The CONSULTANT assumes one set of signed and sealed drawings will be provided <br />to the City of Altamonte Springs Building Department for review.
