DRAFT
V. SCHEDULE
The following schedule is estimated for the tasks set forth in this scope of services.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
The following tasks have been identified as examples of specific additional engineering
and field services that may be required as part of the City's Water System Master Plan
Update, but are not included within the Scope of Services and associated fees, as
described above. The following services are only identified by description below and are
included by reference only as potential additional services.
Task A.1— Water Quality Model Development
This task would include developing bulk and wall decay coefficients using tracer study
field sampling approach for selected locations throughout the distribution system and
desktop calculations. The current hydraulic model would then be calibrated to achieve 90
percent accuracy for specific water quality parameter(s). A water quality calibration
report would be developed and recommendations would be provided. It is estimated that
these services could range from $50,000 to $100,000 based on the level of detail
required.
Page 13 of 14 (#0 1 1, r ,s -EI I I ; I I I LEI ' I f I fi
Completion
Date from
Notice to
Proceed
WATER QUALITY MASTER PLAN & CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
UPDATE
TASK 1.0 —
PROJECT ADMINISTRATION
Every 30 day3
TASK 2.0 —
REVIEW OF EXISTING CONDITONS
30 days
TASK 3.0 —
WATER DEMAND PROJECTION UPDATE
60 days
TASK 4.0 —
WATER SUPPLY EVALUATION
75 days
TASK 5.0 —
REGULATORY ASSESSMENT
100days
TASK 6.0 —
WATER HYDRAULIC MODEL STRUCTURE UPDATE
30 days
TASK 7.0 —
UPDATE
SCENARIO MANAGEMENT AND DEMAND ALLOCATION
60 days
TASK 8.0
ANALYSIS
— HYDRAULIC CAPACITY AND FUTURE CONDITIONS
140 days
TASK 9.0 —
WATER QUALITY OPTIMIZATION AND EVALUATIONS
170 days
TASK 10.0
— ASSET CONDITION AND RISK ASSESSMENT
200 days
TASK 11.0 — WATER TREATMENT PLANT EVALUATION AND
OPTIMIZATION
200 days
TASK 12.0
— WATER QUALITY MASTER PLAN & CIP UPDATE
240 days
TOTAL
240 days
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
The following tasks have been identified as examples of specific additional engineering
and field services that may be required as part of the City's Water System Master Plan
Update, but are not included within the Scope of Services and associated fees, as
described above.
