Tab X. MISCELLANEOUS <br />Attachments: A complete description of the equipment proposed shall be furnished with the <br />proposal. Additional information, which the Contractor feels will assist in the evaluation, should <br />be included. <br />SELECTION PROCESS/EVALUATION CRITERIA <br />All proposals will be subject to a review and evaluation process. It is the intent of the City that all <br />Contractors responding to this RFP, who meet the requirements, will be ranked in accordance with the <br />criteria established in these documents. The City will consider all responsive and responsible proposals <br />received in its evaluation and award process. All submittals shall be reviewed and evaluated by the <br />Selection Committee to determine if they meet the minimum qualifications and for compliance with the <br />RFP requirements. Representatives of the Police Department and Public Works Department shall conduct <br />on-site inspections of each Contractor's office and storage facilities to ascertain if the facility and <br />equipment comply with the requirements specified herein. All specifications regarding equipment, office, <br />and storage facilities must be met no later than ten (10) days after the initial inspection. In the event the <br />Contractor's facilities and/or equipment fail to pass inspection within the l0 -day inspection period, the <br />Contractor may not be considered for award, within the City's discretion. All Contractors meeting the <br />minimum requirements shall then be further evaluated based on the following criteria and shall be ranked <br />by the Selection Committee. <br />The evaluation shall be based on the Contractor's ability to exceed minimum qualifications and <br />requirements including: Contractor must score at least 50 to be considered. <br />• Location and quality of facilities, including condition and cleanliness of the storage lot facilities <br />such as lighting, fencing, security of lot, parking surfaces, total number of storage spaces and the <br />buildings and facilities for the general public retrieving vehicles such as clean restrooms, waiting <br />areas, etc. Max Possible Points 20 <br />• Past experience and performance on other government entities contracts Max Possible Points 20 <br />• Condition and quantity of equipment Max Possible Points 20 <br />• Ability and commitment of Contractor to meet emergency situations Max Possible Points 20 <br />Prospective Contractors are prohibited from contacting any member of the Selection Committee (except <br />the Purchasing Agent) at any time during the bid process, up to the time of contract award.
