CASSELBERRY CTCV COMMISSION <br />Minutes of June 27, 2022 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 13 of 13 <br />Commissioner Mark Busch - Seat No. 3: <br />• Added his thanks to Vice Mayor Aramendia for suggesting the Pride Month proclamation. <br />• Expressed appreciation to the Police Department for its professionalism in handling the recent <br />tragedy and asked Chief Krantz to pass along his thanks to all the officers. <br />Vice Mayor/Commissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: <br />• Also expressed appreciation to the Police Department for their handling of the recent tragic <br />incident. <br />• Thanked the Commissioners for their support of the Pride Month proclamation. <br />Commissioner/Mayor David Henson - Seat No. 5: <br />Stated that he felt the Pride Month proclamation was very much in line with the information <br />presented at the Sanford Speaks workshop he had recently attended on inclusion and equity. <br />Attended the Leadership Seminole board meeting on Friday, June 24"' and advised that tuition <br />for the program would be increasing as a result of a rise in the cost of conducting the classes. <br />Attended an event at American Legion Post 183 in Fern Park on Monday, June 20"', at which <br />Chief Krantz had been presented with a Law Enforcement Certificate of Commendation for <br />outstanding public service benefitting our community, state, and nation, and added that he, <br />himself, had also been presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for support of the <br />organization. <br />18.
