Resolution 22-3308 — Street Lighting Assessment Preliminary Rate Resolution "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, RELATING TO THE DELIVERY AND FUNDING OF STREET LIGHTING SERVICES WITHIN THE CITY; PROVIDING FOR THE IMPOSITION OF STREET LIGHTING ASSESSMENTS WITHIN THE ENTIRE AREA OF THE CITY; ESTIMATING THE SERVICE COST TO PROVIDE STREET LIGHTING SERVICES, FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT AND IMPROVEMENTS; ESTABLISHING THE METHOD OF ASSESSING THE STREET LIGHTING SERVICE COST AGAINST REAL PROPERTY THAT WILL BE SPECIALLY BENEFITED; DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO PREPARE A PRELIMINARY STREET LIGHTING ASSESSMENT ROLL; ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER IMPOSITION OF THE PROPOSED STREET LIGHTING ASSESSMENTS; DIRECTING THE PROVISION OF NOTICE IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Approval of Resolution 22-3308 which provides for a Preliminary Rate Resolution for the implementation of the Street Lighting Assessment for Fiscal Year (FY) 2022-23 is requested. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget at this time. If approved, revenues generated by the Street Lighting Assessment will be budgeted in FY 2022-23 accordingly. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works & Utilities Director recommended approval OfResolution 22-3308. C. Resolution 22-3309 — Seminole County Sheriff's Office Subrecipient Agreement for the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas Program "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT WITH THE SEMINOLE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE RELATED TO THE CENTRAL FLORIDA HIGH INTENSITY DRUG TRAFFICKING AREAS PROGRAM GRANT #G22CF0008A." Introduction: Approval of Resolution 22-3309 which provides for execution of the Seminole County Sheriff's Office Subrecipient Agreement for continued participation by the Casselberry Police Department in the Central Florida High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) program related to HITDA Grant #G22CF0008A is requested. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval of Resolution 22-3309 and the Subrecipient Agreement with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office related to HIDTA Grant #22CF0008A.
