CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of August 27, 2012 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 6 of 20 <br />Recommendation: The Interim City Manager and the City Clerk recommended approval of Resolution 12- <br />2408. <br />H. Acceptance of the 2011 Fire Prevention and Safety Grant Award <br />Introduction: Consideration to accept award of the 2011 Fire Prevention and Safety Grant in the amount of <br />$80,000 with a 10% City match for the purchase of a public fire safety education trailer is requested. <br />Budget Impact: The City would receive a grant award of $80,000 +/- with a required 10% match <br />($8,000 +/-). A finding source for the match has been allocated and a budget amendment will follow once the <br />City is ready to make the purchase, anticipated to occur in the first quarter of FY 2013. <br />Recommendation: The Interim City Manager and the Fire Chief recommended acceptance of the 2011 Fire <br />Prevention and Safety Grant for the purchase of a public fire safety education trailer. <br />I. Reappointments to the South Seminole North Orange County Wastewater <br />Transmission Authority Board <br />Introduction: Consideration of reappointments of Steve Spencer as the City's representative and Glendon <br />Weatherholtz as the City's alternate representative to the South Seminole North Orange County Wastewater <br />Transmission Authority Board (SSNOCWTA) is requested. <br />Budget Impact: Per the SSNOCWTA Bylaws, a bond is required on each individual. Funds to cover this <br />expense in the approximate amount of $1,000 are budgeted in the FYI budget. <br />Recommendation: The Interim City Manager recommended that the Commission consider reappointments of <br />Steve Spencer as representative and Glendon Weatherholtz as alternate to the South Seminole North Orange <br />County Wastewater Transmission Authority Board. <br />Piggyback Purchase of Disc Based Backup Data Storage Device from Dell Power <br />Marketing, LP <br />Introduction: Consideration of the piggyback purchase of one (1) Dell PowerVault MD3200i disc based <br />back-up data storage device from Dell Marketing, LP under State of Florida contract #250-WSCA-1 O -ACS in <br />the amount of $16,996.80 to replace the current end of life tape drive model is requested. This capital <br />purchase was budgeted in the FY 2012 Budget. <br />Budget Impact: The cost of the Dell PowerVault MD3200i device is $16,996.80, which has been included in <br />the Information Systems Host System & Network Servers account #001-0151-513.67-08 in the FY 2012 <br />budget. <br />Recommendation: The Interim City Manager and the Interim Finance Director recommended approval to <br />purchase the Dell PowerVault MD3200i disc based back-up storage device at a cost of $16,996.80. <br />
