CITIZENS' COMMENTS Mayor Henson announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Henson announced the rules of decorum. No one came forward. 14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT A. Procurement Information Report for the Period February 1 2022 through FebruM 28, 2022 Mr. Newlon advised that the Procurement Information Report for the month of February 2022 was contained in the Commissioners' agenda packets for review. He noted that the report contained information about minor contracts that were issued under delegated authority of staff during this period. • Commended and expressed appreciation to all City staff who had worked to support the Spring Jazz and Art Festival on Saturday, March 26"i, noting that it was a tremendous event and very well attended. • Advised that State Representative David Smith had asked to present a legislative update to the City Commission and would be doing that at the April 11"' regular City Commission meeting. 15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT No report. 16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT City Clerk Donna Gardner shared the following information: • The City has also received a request from State Representative Joy Goff-Marcil to present a legislative update at an upcoming City Commission meeting so that will be scheduled for an upcoming meeting. • The City's next event is Folk Fest, featuring guest artist Yarn on Saturday, April 9`I' in Lake Concord Park from 6-9 p.m. Food trucks and vendors will also be a part of that event. 17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS Commissioner Chad Albritton — Seat No. 4: • Reported he has been working with Community Legal Services of Mid -Florida which is an organization that provides free legal assistance for homeowners and renters who need to apply
