CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of March 14, 2022 — Regular Meeting Page I1 of 12 15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT • Gave a brief summary on recent legislation, including a bill relating to sovereign immunity which did not pass, and one relating to property rights for trimming, pruning and removal of trees which defines some terms and sets some standards that she believes will be going to the Governor for signature. Mr. Newlon also mentioned a bill relating to financial disclosure requirements that Ms. Reischmann confirmed did not pass. 16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT City Clerk Donna Gardner shared the following information: • The Spring Jazz and Art Festival will be held on Saturday, March 26`1 in Lake Concord Park from 6-9 p.m. 17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS Commissioner Chad Albritton — Seat No. 4: No report. Commissioner Mark Busch - Seat No. 3: • Stated he had no report but thanked the Finance Department staff for their continued excellence in keeping the City's finances in great shape and for their work in preparation of another great Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2: • Also congratulated the Finance Department staff for another successful Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. Commissioner/Vice Mayor Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: Added his congratulations and thanks to the Finance Department staff for their work on the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. Attended the Casselberry Police Department's Annual Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, March 3 rd Enjoyed attending the Mardi Gras Music Festival and the Mardi Paws Dog Parade on Saturday, February 26' at Lake Concord Park.
