Shane Hidle, Construction manager representing Amherst Group advised that the property was purchased sight unseen, someone thought it would be a good idea to stucco over the garage door. Amherst likes for their properties to be in compliance with standards. An engineer was hired after the notice of violation was received. Mr. Hidle asked for a 60 -day extension to pull permits and get them finalized. The Special Magistrate made a finding that CE -21-000383, located at 1005 Park Dr., was in violation of the City Code Sections as listed on the notice of code violation, based on testimony and evidence provided by the Code Enforcement Officer. It was ordered that the respondent shall cure the violations by 1:00 P.M. January 31, 2022. If there is no compliance by January 31, 2022, then a fine of $100.00 per day will be imposed for each day the property remains in non-compliance.
