CASSCLBCRRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of January 24, 2022 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 3 of 10 <br />Introduction: Resolution 22-3288 seeks authorization to enter into an Interlocal Agreement with Seminole <br />County in support of Seminole County's efforts to secure funding for programs that combat the impacts of <br />opioid addiction. <br />Budget Impact: At this time there is no expected budget impact. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager recommended approval of this Resolution. <br />C. Reorganization of the Administrative Services Department <br />Introduction: Consideration of approval of the reorganization of the Administrative Services Department <br />to replace the Special Projects Coordinator with a Staff Assistant I/II is requested. <br />Budget Impact: The Special Projects Coordinator position is assigned to paygrade 131. The Staff <br />Assistant I/II would be assigned to paygrades 116/125. The position is fully funded and currently vacant <br />and as the new position will be in a lower paygrade, there is no negative impact to the budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Administrative Services Director recommended approval <br />to replace the Special Projects Coordinator position with a Staff Assistant I/II position. <br />D. Approval of Supplemental Agreement No. 2 Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) <br />for PW 2111 Lake Concord Park — Art House Expansion Amendment No 2 Early <br />Release Steel Package <br />Introduction: Consideration of approval of Amendment No. 2 to Supplemental Agreement No. 2 to the <br />Contract Agreement with Wharton -Smith, Inc. for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for Parks <br />Construction Projects for a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), in the amount of $237,921.70, to purchase <br />the steel package necessary to construct project PW 2111 Lake Concord Park Art House Expansion is <br />requested. <br />Budget Impact: Funding for Amendment No. 2 to Supplemental Agreement No. 2 with WSI (Wharton - <br />Smith, Inc.) in the amount of $237,921.70 has been budgeted in FY22 and is available in the Parks Master <br />Plan Building Improvements account #307-0410-572.62-25. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of <br />Amendment No. 2 to Supplemental Agreement No. 2 to the Contract Agreement with Wharton -Smith, Inc. <br />for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for Parks Construction Projects for a Guaranteed Maximum <br />Price (GMP), in the amount of $237,921.70. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Consent Agenda. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Busch. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote 5-0. <br />
