CASSCLBGRRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of February 14, 2022 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 9 of I I <br />Staff Presentation: City Clerk Donna Gardner stated that an application is being presented for <br />appointment to the South Seminole North Orange County Wastewater Transmission Authority Board. The <br />City of Casselberry is a member of the South Seminole North Orange County Wastewater Transmission <br />Authority (SSNOCWTA) and has one regular member on the board as well as an alternate member. The <br />by-laws for the board were recently updated to allow for appointment of a City employee who is not a <br />resident of the City. The City's regular Board Member Victor Lutz resigned from the Board effective <br />January 24, 2022. This is an unexpired term which is effective to September 30, 2024. The City's current <br />alternate, Larry Fernandez, is not interested in serving as the primary member and would like to remain the <br />alternate. Tara Lamoureux, Assistant Public Works Director/Utility Manager, regularly attends the <br />SSNOCWTA board meetings and has applied to be the City's regular member on the board. Ms. <br />Lamoureux is now eligible to serve due to the by-laws change. <br />Budget Impact: This item has no impact to the City's budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the City Clerk recommended the City Commission consider <br />appointment of Tara Lamoureux as the City's regular member to the South Seminole North Orange County <br />Wastewater Transmission Authority Board, term effective to September 30, 2024. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address this item. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to appoint Assistant Public Works <br />Director/Utility Manager Tara Lamoureux to serve as the City's regular <br />board member to the South Seminole North Orange County Wastewater <br />Transmission Authority (SSNOCWTA) Board, term effective to September <br />30, 2024. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Busch. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Henson announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments.
