CASSGLBCRRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of January 10, 2022 — Regular Meeting_ <br />Page 12 of 13 <br />9 p.m. There will be an associated art exhibit opening, as well. <br />• City Hall and City facilities will be closed on Monday, January 17"' in observance of the Martin <br />Luther King, Jr. holiday. <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Chad Albritton — Seat No. 4: <br />• Wished everyone a Happy New Year. <br />• Stated that the City was taking on some amazing projects for the advancement of the <br />environment and every resident within the City and he was looking forward to a good, <br />optimistic year. <br />Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2: <br />• Agreed with Commissioner Albritton regarding the City's upcoming projects and stated he was <br />also looking forward to a good year. <br />• Wished everyone a Happy New Year. <br />Commissioner Mark Busch - Seat No. 3: <br />• Stated he had no report but wished everyone a Happy New Year and noted he was looking <br />forward to a good year. <br />Commissioner/Vice Mayor Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: <br />• Stated he had been appointed to the Board for the Casselberry Chamber of Commerce and <br />thanked Commissioner Meadows for swearing him in as a board member. <br />• Advised he was trying to keep track of what was happening with Senate Bill 1078 brought <br />forward by Senator Hutson which abolishes all soil and water conservation boards throughout <br />the state. <br />• Advised that Anne Blood, who was Hibbard Casselberry's secretary, had passed away today at <br />the age of 104. <br />Mayor Henson — Seat No. 5: <br />• Participated in the Christmas Eve service in Lake Concord Park hosted by one of the local <br />churches and it was well attended. <br />• Was happy to have participated in an event sponsored by Christian Help held at Willow Creels <br />Church that provided Christmas gifts and food items for underprivileged families in the area. <br />
