CITY OF CASSELBERRY CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING MARCH 18, 2021 The City held its regular Code Enforcement hearing Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 6:30 p.m., in the City of Casselberry Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. Ms. Kara Consalo, Esq. Special Magistrate, called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. SPECIAL MAGISTRATE Kara Z. Consalo, Esq. CITY STAFF PRESENT Mark Campbell, Code Compliance Supervisor Micelania Acevedo, Senior Code Compliance Officer Matt McDonald, Code Compliance Officer Brenda Jones, Recording Secretary Jen Nix, Assistant City Attorney FORMAT FOR PROCEEDINGS The Special Magistrate read the format for proceedings. SWEARING IN OF THOSE IN ATTENDANCE The Special Magistrate swore in those who would testify. PLEDGE OF ALLIGIANCE The Special Magistrate led the Pledge of Allegiance. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The Special Magistrate asked if anyone in the audience had any additions or corrections to the Minutes from the February 18, 2021 hearing; there were none. The Special Magistrate approved the Minutes from the February 18, 2021 hearing. STATEMENT OF EVIDENCE Supervisor Campbell advised that all events occurred within the corporate limits of the City. The Officer's notes, case narratives, testimony, photographs, supporting documents and PowerPoint presentation were all entered as part of the official record. NEW CASES CE -20-001377 501 Lake Kathlyn Cir. • No building permit, City Code 1-4.3 Officer Acevedo provided testimony and read case information into record. The City requested a correction date of May 02, 2021. If no compliance by May 02, 2021, then a fine of $100.00 per day should then be imposed for each day of non-compliance thereafter. The City requested a subsequent hearing date of May 20, 2021 to determine compliance. The Special Magistrate asked if there was anyone wishing to speak to this case, there was no one present. 11Page
