CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING <br />FEBRUARY 18, 2021 <br />The City held its regular Code Enforcement hearing Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 6:30 p.m., in the City of <br />Casselberry Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. Ms. Karen "Kara" Consalo, Esq. <br />Special Magistrate, called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />SPECIAL MAGISTRATE <br />Karen "Kara" Z. Consalo, Esq. <br />CITY STAFF PRESENT <br />Mark Campbell, Code Compliance Supervisor <br />Micelania Acevedo, Code Compliance Officer <br />Brenda Jones, Recording Secretary <br />Jen Nix, Assistant City Attorney <br />FORMAT FOR PROCEEDINGS <br />The Special Magistrate read the format for proceedings. <br />SWEARING IN OF THOSE IN ATTENDANCE <br />The Special Magistrate swore in those who would testify. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLIGIANCE <br />The Special Magistrate led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Special Magistrate asked if anyone in the audience had any additions or corrections to the Minutes from the <br />January 21, 2020 hearing; there were none. The Special Magistrate approved the Minutes from the January 21, 2020 <br />hearing, noting a correction needed to be made to the year to reflect 2021. <br />STATEMENT OF EVIDENCE <br />Supervisor Campbell advised that all events occurred within the corporate limits of the City. The Officer's notes, <br />case narratives, testimony, photographs, supporting documents and PowerPoint presentation were all entered as part <br />of the official record. <br />NEW CASES <br />CE -20-002211 460 Lowndes Sq. <br />• Fence in disrepair, City Code 3-10.3.b.I <br />• Fence permit required, City Code 2-7.10.a <br />• One fence or wall per property line, City Code 2-7.10.c.7 <br />Officer Acevedo provided testimony and read case information into record. The City requested a correction date of <br />April 4, 2021. If no compliance by April 4, 2021, then a fine of $100.00 per day should then be imposed for each <br />day of non-compliance thereafter. The City requested a subsequent hearing date of April 15, 2021 to determine <br />compliance. The Special Magistrate asked if there was anyone wishing to speak to this case, property owner was <br />present. <br />11Pa8e <br />
