The City/County Canine Unit (CCCU) is a multi -agency unit, organized and formulated to <br />provide o resource pool of canines and canine handlers who train and work together. <br />These canines and handlers are available to respond to cooperating law enforcement <br />agencies' request(s) for assistance and cooperating agencies may initiate requests for <br />assistance under the provisions of the policy and procedures set forth in this Voluntary <br />Cooperation Agreement. <br />B. Requests for canine assistance from member agencies ofthe CCCUshall buinitiated by <br />the on -duty supervisor. The requesting supervisor must state the reason the canine team <br />inneeded and the estimated time the canine team will benaedod. <br />C.
