Page 11 <br />City of Altamonte Springs, Florida <br />City of Apopka, Florida <br />City of Casselberry, Florida City of Lake Mary, Florida <br />City of Longwood, Florida <br />City of Maitland, Florida <br />City of Oviedo, Florida <br />City of Sanford, Florida <br />City of Winter Park <br />City of Winter Springs, Florida <br />Sanford Airport Authority <br />City of Sanford, Florida <br />Sheriff of Seminole County, Florida <br />University of Central Florida Board of Trustees on behalf of its Police Department <br />WHEREAS, the subscribed law enforcement agencies are so located in relation to each other <br />that it is to the advantage of each to receive and extend Mutual Aid in the form of law <br />enforcement services and resources to adequately respond to continuing, multi -jurisdictional <br />law enforcement problems, so as to protect the public peace and safety, and preserve the lives <br />and property of the people; and <br />WHEREAS, the Parties, recognize that an increasing number of criminal offenders are <br />operating across jurisdictional lines and the Parties have determined that it is in the best <br />interest of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens within the jurisdictions of the Parties to <br />enter into a Voluntary Cooperation Agreement and Operational Assistance Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the Altamonte Springs Police Department, the Apopka Police Department, the <br />Casselberry Police Department, the Lake Mary Police Department, the Longwood Police <br />Department, the Maitland Police Department, the Oviedo Police Department, the Sanford <br />Police Department, The University of Central Florida Police Department, the Winter Park Police <br />Department, the Winter Springs Police Department, the Sanford Airport Authority and the <br />Seminole County Sheriffs Office have the authority under Part I of Chapter 23, Florida Statutes, <br />the Florida Mutual Aid Act, to enter into a Voluntary Cooperation Agreement for <br />City/County K-9 Unit Mutual Aid Agreement -January 1, 2021 to January 31, 2025 <br />Cities of Altamonte Springs, Apopka, Casselberry, Lake Mary, Longwood, <br />Maitland, Oviedo, Sanford, Winter Park, Winter Springs, Sanford Airport Authority, the University of <br />Central Florida Police and the Seminole County Sheriffs Office <br />
