Page (6 <br />SECTION V. GENERAL POLICY AND PROCEDURES FOR COMBINED MUTUAL AID <br />ASSISTANCE <br />A. Should additional violations of Florida Statutes occur in the presence of an officer, <br />representing his or her respective agency in furtherance this Agreement, he/she shall be <br />empowered to render enforcement assistance and act in accordance with the law. <br />B. Emergency Calls for service which are dispatched simultaneously over the Seminole <br />County Net Radio Channel, shall be deemed a request and authorization for mutual aid <br />response, by any participating agency to this agreement, which responds to said call for <br />service outside of their normal jurisdiction. The same shall apply to participating agencies to <br />this agreement who do not participate in Seminole County Net radio dispatch but who <br />monitor the Seminole County Net Radio Channel. <br />SECTION VL POWERS, PRIVILEGES, IMMUNITIES, AND COSTS <br />A. Members of the subscribed law enforcement agencies, when actually engaging in mutual <br />cooperation and assistance outside of the jurisdictional limits of their respective agencies, <br />under the terms of this Agreement, shall, pursuant to the provisions of Section 23.127, <br />Florida Statutes, have the same powers, duties, rights, privileges, and immunities, as if they <br />were performing their duties in the political subdivision in which they are normally employed. <br />B. Each party agrees to furnish necessary equipment, resources, and facilities, and to <br />render services to each other party to the Agreement as set forth above, provided however, <br />that no party shall be required to deplete unreasonably its own equipment, resources, <br />facilities, and services, in furnishing such mutual aid. <br />C. The agency furnishing aid, pursuant to this Agreement, shall bear the loss or damages <br />to such equipment, and shall pay any expense incurred in the operation and maintenance <br />thereof. <br />Inter Local Multi Jurisdiction Combined Mutual Aid Agreement January 1, 2021 — January 31, 2021. Cities <br />of Altamonte Springs, Casselberry, Lake Mary, Longwood, Oviedo, Sanford, Winter Springs and the <br />Sanford Airport Authority, The University of Central Florida Board of Trustees on behalf of its Police <br />Department and the Seminole County Sheriffs Office <br />
