CASSGLBCRRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of September 13, 2021 — Regular Meeting <br />Page G of 19 <br />Budget Impact: Sufficient funds for the cost for property and casualty insurance premiums will be <br />budgeted in the FY 2022 Budget General Fund account #001-0190-519.45-00 Insurance Premium/General <br />Liability/Auto/Property, Water & Sewer Fund account #401-0190-536.45-00 Insurance Premium/General <br />Liability/Auto/Property, and within each department/division's workers' compensation accounts. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Administrative Services Director recommended approval <br />of the renewal for property and casualty insurance services with Florida Municipal Insurance Trust in the <br />amount of $632,615. <br />City Labor Attorney Rate Adjustment <br />Introduction: Approval of a rate adjustment for labor and employment law attorney services provided by <br />the law firm Fisher and Phillips, LLP from $280/hour to $295/hour effective October 1, 2021 is requested. <br />Budget Impact: Funds will be budgeted accordingly in City Attorney services account #001-0140-514.31- <br />02 for FY 2022 and future years. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Administrative Services Director recommended approval <br />of the City Labor Attorney rate adjustment as proposed. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Consent Agenda. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Busch. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote 5-0. <br />8. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />No items were presented for consideration. <br />B. Municipal Advisory Committee (Metroplan) Report <br />Mayor Henson reported that he personally attended the meeting of the group on Thursday, September 2" d, <br />which had been a hybrid meeting, and the highlight of the meeting was a discussion on the Lynx system <br />which has increased travel by 50% compared to what it was last year, indicating that things are getting <br />somewhat back to normal. <br />
