City of Casselberry <br />Parks & Recreation Advisory Board <br />Regular Meeting — November 12, 2019 <br />7. Board Member Reports: <br />Alternate LeAnn Nash said she attended the Chamber of Commerce's Food & Wine Festival and <br />felt it was well attended and organized. She was looking forward to our next event. <br />Board Member Dana Callan said he was enjoying seeing the lights outside. <br />Board Member Katy Farmer agreed that the lights were beautiful and was very excited for <br />upcoming holiday events she can share with her grandchildren. <br />Board Member Courtney Icenhower commented on how nice the new roof looks on the Wirz <br />Park Building and said she is looking forward to this weekend's events. <br />Chairman Melissa Holmes thought the Food & Wine event was well attended and that the food <br />and drink offerings were very tasty. She also wanted to state that she thinks the City does a <br />great job and loves everything that is being done and is glad to be a part of it; she then offered <br />her thanks. <br />8. Audience Participation — <br />Mr. Chad Albritton, 161 NE Triplet Dr, stated he was a long-time resident who wished to get <br />involved. Regarding the parks expansion, he asked about the considerations for including solar <br />or "greenifying" the parks long term. Ms. Moore advised Mr. Albritton that Dr. Kelly Brock, City <br />Engineer would have the best information and proceeded to arrange communication between <br />them. <br />9.
