BA #21-040 Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to provide additional funding for Wirz Park Supplemental Agreement #5 with Wharton -Smith and Task Authorization #4 with CPH in the amount of $48,421. The total cost for both is $424,724 (SA#5 is $50,774 and TA#4 is 373,950). L. Task Authorization No. 4 with CPH Inc. for Limited Construction Administration Services for the Water Reclamation Workshop Rehabilitation Project Introduction: Approval of Task Authorization No. 4 with CPH, Inc. provides for limited construction administration for the Water Reclamation Workshop Rehabilitation project in the amount of $14,990. Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #21-039, associated with the award of the Water Reclamation Facility Workshop Rehabilitation project presented under another item on this Commission agenda, provides ample funding in the Water and Sewer Water Reclamation Building Improvements account #401- 0753-535.62-25 to complete this work. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Task Authorization No. 4 with CPH for limited construction administration services for the Water Reclamation Workshop Rehab project in an amount not to exceed $14,990. M. Supplemental Agreement No. 5 with Wharton -Smith Inc. to Provide Pre - Construction Services for Wirz Park Introduction: Supplemental Agreement No. 5 to the Contract Agreement with Wharton -Smith, Inc. for Construction Manager at Risk for Parks Construction Projects provides for pre -construction services for project PW 2109 Wirz Park Improvements in the amount not to exceed $50,774.20. (Ref. SOQ-2021-0715) Budget Impact: Sufficient funding for the $50,774.20 in pre -construction services under Supplemental Agreement No. 5 is budgeted and available in Parks Master Plan Fund Account #307-0410-572.63-24.
