Section 1-5.1. Definitions. <br />The followina words. terms and -ohrases, when used in this Chanter. shall have the <br />meaninpas ascribed to them in this Section. except where the context clearly indicates a <br />different meaning-, <br />Administrative Official shall be the Director of the Communitv Develoi)ment <br />Department and shall be charged with enforcement of the provisions of this swimming <br />pool code. <br />Fami1v Dool means a facility containing or intended to contain water of a total volume <br />,greater than 3.000 gallons owned and used onIv by an individual citizen and Mern ers o <br />his immediate family and bona fide guests of the family_and shall not include ownership <br />oneration or use by any type clubcoQperative houseor ioint tenancy of two or more <br />families. <br />Pool means anv constructed pool facility containing, or intending to contain water and <br />used for swimminLy, bathinawadina. aouatic uses or other similar uses. <br />Public pool means a pool as defined above that is owned. operated. and used by anv <br />ca oration Dartnershii). clubcooDerative house or Joint tenancy of two or more <br />I <br />families or anv organization of any kind. <br />Screen enclosure means an enclosure surrounding a noolthe walls and roof of the <br />enclosure consistinQ entirely of screen mesh excei)t for minimum essential structural <br />framework required for its sunnort. <br />Wadino pool means a facility containing or intended to contain water of a _total volume <br />not ,greater than 3.000 gallons. is no more than 18 inches deen, contains no more than <br />125 souare feet and is used onIv bv an individual citizen and his family or bonafide <br />auests, and shall not include ownershit). operation or use by anv tvDe club. coo Derative <br />house, -or ioint tenancy of two or more families. <br />Section 1-5.2. Administration. <br />For purposes of this code, the Director of the Community Development Department <br />shall be the Administrative Official and shall be charged with enforcement of the <br />provisions of this swimming pool code. Ihe Administrative Official may authorize , in <br />writing, a staff member who is qualified as a building official pursuant to the provisions <br />of Florida Statutes. Chapter 468. Part XIII.
