ORDINANCE NO. 775 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, REPEALING SECTION 34.53 (C) (1) (2) , FIRE <br />ALARM SERVICE FEES, AND SECTION 34.38(C)(1)(2), <br />BURGLAR ALARM SERVICE FEES, OF THE CITY CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA; ESTABLISHING <br />CURRENT ALARM SERVICE FEES FOR FIRE AND <br />BURGLAR ALARM SYSTEMS WITHIN THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. That Section 34.53 (C) (1) (2) of the City Code of the City of <br />Casselberry, Florida, is hereby repealed, and a new Section 34.53(C)(1)(2) is <br />hereby enacted to read as follows: <br />§ 34.53(C) (1) (2) Fire Alarm Service Fees. <br />There shall be a service fee charged for false alarms or <br />systems tests conducted without prior notice to the City as <br />follows: <br />(1) No fee shall be assessed for any of the first <br />three false alarms at the same premises <br />during any consecutive 6 -month period. The <br />fourth false fire alarm and all subsequent <br />false fire alarms thereafter shall be assessed <br />a service fee of $100 each. <br />(2) The fee shall be billed to the owner, lessee, <br />or manager of the premises, whichever shall <br />be in residence on the premises. An alarm <br />will be considered valid only if it is the result <br />of a reported fire. <br />SECTION II. That Section 34.38 (C) (1) (2) of the City Code of the City <br />of Casselberry, Florida, is hereby repealed, and a new Section 34.38(C) (1) (2) is <br />hereby enacted to read as follows: <br />
