CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of June 9, 2014 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 10 of 16 <br />8. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />No items were presented for consideration. <br />B. Municipal Advisory Committee (Metroplan) Report — Mayor Glancy <br />Reported that the Municipal Advisory Committee had agreed to present a resolution to Metroplan in support of <br />utilizing excess funding in the budget to complete SunRail, and also gave a brief legislative update. <br />C. Leadership Seminole Board Report — Mayor Glancy <br />No report. <br />D. Mayors/Managers Group Report — Mayor Glancy <br />No report. <br />E. Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO) Report — Vice Mayor <br />Hufford <br />Reported that the meeting had taken place at Sanford Memorial Baseball Stadium and the program had focused <br />primarily on the City of Sanford's rich history. Also advised that they would not meet again until September, <br />2014. <br />F. Seminole County Redevelopment Planning Agency Report — Commissioner Solomon <br />No report. <br />G. City Center Property Development Report — Commissioner Aramendia <br />Reported there had been four meetings over the past couple of weeks with another scheduled for Thursday, <br />June 12, 2014. He noted that the City Manager had been diligently working on the budget numbers and he <br />anticipated that the developer's agreement would be ready soon, at which time workshops would be scheduled <br />for the Commission to discuss the details of the agreement. Mr. Newlon confirmed that they were working on <br />balancing the budget between the developers and City contributions, and prior to the development and <br />construction agreement being brought to the Commission for consideration, workshops would be scheduled to <br />ensure that the Commission would be fully informed. <br />
