Approval of Legal Services Invoices Introduction: Approval of the legal services invoice from the City Attorney is requested. Discussion: The following invoice has been reviewed by the affected departments and is being presented for approval: Garganese, Weiss, D'Agresta & Salzman, P.A. City Attorney Services for April 2021 • Invoice No. 89030 $ 14,515.62 Budget Impact: Funds for the City Attorney's invoice are available in FY 2021 Budget Account No. 001- 0140-514.31-01. Recommendation: The City Manager and staff recommended approval of the legal services invoice as submitted. B. Resolution 21-3239 — Award of RFP -2021-0708 and Agreement with MSL P.A. for Accounting and Auditing Services Please note that these minutes reflect correction of a scrivener's error in the resolution number which was incorrectly noted as Resolution 21-3229 on the resolution, memorandum and backup documentation contained in the Agenda Packet for this item. "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AWARDING REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL RFP -2021-0708 AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH MSL, P.A. FOR ACCOUNTING AND AUDITING SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Approval of Resolution 21-3239 provides for the award of Request for Proposal (RFP - 2021 -0708) to, and execution of an agreement with, MSL, P.A. to provide accounting and auditing services to the City for a period of three (3) years (Fiscal Year 2021, Fiscal Year 2022, and Fiscal Year 2023) with the option to renew for two (2) one (1) year periods when in the best interest of the City in the total not -to - exceed amount of $309,520 for the five (5) year period is requested. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the Fiscal Year 2021 budget. Thereafter, funds will be appropriated through the annual budget process. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval of Resolution 21- 3239 approving award of RFP -2021-0708 to, and execution of an agreement with, MSL, P.A. in the amount of $309,520.
