CASSELBCRRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of September 24, 2018 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 14 of 14 <br />Mayor Glancy — Seat No. 5: <br />Also expressed appreciation to Mr. Kreskey and Mr. Case for their willingness to serve. <br />Asked staff to share information about upcoming events, including: <br />- National Night Out hosted by the Casselberry Police Department with assistance from local <br />community partners on Tuesday, October 2"" from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Lake Concord Park. <br />- Coffee with a Cop at the Casselberry Starbucks on Wednesday, October 3' from 1:00-2:30 <br />p.m. <br />- Country Jam Concert featuring musical artist Kendell Marvel, in conjunction with the Art <br />& Music in the Park and Food Truck Bazaar on Friday, October 12`l' from 6:00-9:00 p.m. <br />at Lake Concord Park, <br />Mr. Newlon also shared that he and Chief Krantz would be attending the Seminole County Board of County <br />Commissioners' meeting on Tuesday, September 25' at which the Board would again be considering the <br />proposed ordinance strengthening legislation pertaining to aggressive dogs which the City had played a role <br />in developing. It had been previously tabled for the County to hear back from each of the cities about <br />support of the ordinance, and both Mr. Newlon and Mayor Glancy advised they were looking forward to a <br />positive outcome on the issue. <br />18.
