Account Number Account Descriation Amount Increase: 110-0000-389.90-00 Other Non -Operating Source $113,951 110-0740-538.31-00 Professional Services $113,951 Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Task Authorization #3 with Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. and related Budget Amendment #21-019 to develop a Lake Concord 4e Plan and perform in -lake alum treatments in an amount not to exceed $113,950.28 (plus the cost of separate alum purchase by the City.) C. Piggyback Purchase and Installation of Playground from Miller Recreation Equipment and Design, Inc./Miracle Recreation Equipment for Lake Hodge Park Introduction: The agreement with Miller Recreation Equipment and Design, Inc./Miracle Recreation Equipment by piggybacking Manatee County Contract No. 21 -0053 -MR provides for the purchase and installation of a playground for Lake Hodge Park in the amount of $66,683.51. (PBA -2021-0721) Budget Impact: Sufficient funding is budgeted and available in the Parks Maintenance Account #001- 0410-572.67-35 for this purchase. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of the purchase and installation of a playground and equipment from Miller Recreation Equipment and Design, Inc./Miracle Recreation Equipment in the amount of $66,683.51 for Lake Hodge Park. D. Budget Amendment #21-018 — Recognition of Revenue for a Memorial Park Bench Introduction: Budget Amendment #21-018 recognizes revenue contributions totaling $2,500 for the purchase and installation of a memorial park bench. Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #21-018 will increase the Private Sources/Memorial Benches account #001-0000-366.91-03 and Parks Maintenance Division Small Tools and Minor Equipment/Memorial Benches account #001-0410-572.56-01 by $2,500 each. BA #21-018 Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to recognize the donation in the amount of $2,500 from Kris Spiric & family for the purchase and installation of a memorial park bench.
