He then shared information from each of the member agencies' reports relating <br />to projects and events going on within their respective jurisdictions. <br />D. Leadership Seminole Board Report <br />No report. <br />E. Mayors/Managers Group Report <br />Mayor Henson advised that the next meeting would be held February 16"' at 11:30 a.m. and added that the <br />groundbreaking for the Casselberry Elementary School was also on February 16`h at 10:00 a.m. and <br />encouraged those who could, to attend. Mr. Newlon added that the Mayors/Managers Group meeting would <br />be a Zoom meeting. <br />9. RESOLUTIONS <br />A. Resolution 21-3222 — Condemning the Violence at the Capitol on January 6 2021 <br />and Speech Inciting Riots <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 21-3222 by title only, as follows: <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, CONDEMNING THE VIOLENCE AT THE CAPITOL ON JANUARY 6, 2021 AND <br />SPEECH INCITING RIOTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: City Manager Randy Newlon stated that this resolution was requested by the City <br />Commission at its last regular meeting and had been referred to City Attorney Reischmann and her staff for <br />preparation. He noted that he and the City Attorney felt Resolution 21-3222 met the intent of the City <br />Commissioners and what they were seeking to express. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Resolution 21-3222. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve Resolution 21-3222, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Busch. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote 5-0. <br />10. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES <br />A. Ordinance 21-1548 — Amending Article XIV, Tree Protection Sections 3-14.3 and <br />3-14.8 Regarding the Tree Removal Process (LPA 20-11) <br />
