Mayors/Managers Group Report Mayor Henson advised that the next meeting would be held February 16"' at 11:30 a.m. and added that the groundbreaking for the Casselberry Elementary School was also on February 16`h at 10:00 a.m. and encouraged those who could, to attend. Mr. Newlon added that the Mayors/Managers Group meeting would be a Zoom meeting. 9. RESOLUTIONS A. Resolution 21-3222 — Condemning the Violence at the Capitol on January 6 2021 and Speech Inciting Riots The City Clerk read Resolution 21-3222 by title only, as follows: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, CONDEMNING THE VIOLENCE AT THE CAPITOL ON JANUARY 6, 2021 AND SPEECH INCITING RIOTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Staff Presentation: City Manager Randy Newlon stated that this resolution was requested by the City Commission at its last regular meeting and had been referred to City Attorney Reischmann and her staff for preparation. He noted that he and the City Attorney felt Resolution 21-3222 met the intent of the City Commissioners and what they were seeking to express. Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Resolution 21-3222. MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve Resolution 21-3222, as presented. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Busch. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. 10. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES A. Ordinance 21-1548 — Amending Article XIV, Tree Protection Sections 3-14.3 and 3-14.8 Regarding the Tree Removal Process (LPA 20-11)
